FAQs: Pokeballs by Crayle

You’ve got questions? Well I’ve got answers. Right here on this page.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes, I do take custom orders! I make custom Pokeballs, Poke-Mugs, resin keychains, and more!

How long does it take to make a Pokeball?

It depends on the size and design of the Pokeball.

Most of my standard 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch Pokeballs have between 5 and 13 labor hours in them.

They usually take 3-5 days to complete, as things often need to dry or cure in between tasks.

Where do you find the Pokemon inside your products?

I buy licensed figures anywhere that they can be found, either retail or wholesale.

While people sometimes ask me if I can 3D print or sculpt a figure, I don’t want to make “knock off” Pokemon figures, so I buy licensed.

How long have you been making these?

I have been making Pokeballs since 2018, and selling them since 2020.

I spent 2 years improving my craft before starting to sell them, and this is now my primary job.

My convention schedule for both Pokeballs by Crayle and any of my cosplay and podcast endeavors can be found here.

Where do you get your design ideas?

All kinds of places!

Some of my scenes are inspired directly by the Pokemon anime. Others are requested by my customers and co-designed with them.

Sometimes, I just want to recreate an environment from nature or a location where I’ve been, and then later ask myself: What Pokemon belongs in this?

Inspiration is out there. 🙂
